German WW2 style Mountain Trooper Skis & Poles Set U.S. Edged Weapons With the 100-year anniversary ofOriginal Items: Included in this set is a pair of white laminated wood skis and white metal poles with large wheel style baskets. These are genuine 1950's era Norwegian Military issue (Norway produced much of Germany's WW2 Skis). However, these skis bear a striking resemblance to German WW2 Mountain trooper issue; see "Uniforms and Traditions of the German Army 1933 1945" by Angolia and Schlicht, volume 3 pages 226 227, that show the skis in
