Acquired directly from a veterans estate this is an amazing "bring back" KIA shot through helmet. The helmet itself is a M40 (model 1940) by Quist in shell size 66. The shell is was stamped on the rear apron which is now a hole but we know that Quist in Esslingen, Germany manufactured it.
